The fine print, kept short
Privacy policy
KALA Bakery + Coffee (Cascadia PNW Holdings Ltd), 3507 32nd Street, Vernon, BC. We collect the minimum we need to make your order work, and we don't sell or share your information with anyone for marketing. Here's the whole picture.
What we collect
When you order or make an account: your phone number, and if you choose to share them, your name and email. We keep your order history, loyalty points, and Kala Credit balance so they're there next time. Card payments are processed by Square — your card number never touches our servers.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number with an order, we use it for that order only: a confirmation when it's placed and a text when it's ready — typically 1–3 messages per order. If you sign in by phone, we text you a one-time sign-in code you requested. We never send marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.
We email order confirmations, receipts, and sign-in codes you request. News about the bakery (like our opening) goes only to people who signed up for it, and every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link that works the first time.
Who touches your data
Only the services that make the bakery run: Square (payments), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (text delivery), and our hosting providers. They process your information for us and nothing else. We never sell it, rent it, or trade it.
